Thank you!
Dear Readers,
We touched down back in Boston only to hit the ground running into prom, final exams, Senior Exhibitions, and finally, graduation! Our journey to Eastern Europe is a memory that every student is taking away with them as an educational experience that has enriched their lives.
For the past three years, the students enrolled in our honors senior Facing History and Ourselves course have had this opportunity to travel to Eastern Europe to learn about the Holocaust. In the classroom, we discuss some of the more difficult examples of human behavior in the 20th century. For more information on the Facing History and Ourselves model of classroom instruction, please visit their web site: http://www.facing.org
Due to the hard work and dedication of our students, and the generous donations made by people like you, this year’s seniors succeeded in successfully raising the necessary funds to take the trip. This blog documented their journey, and hopefully you were able to share the experience with them! We thank you for your comments from all over the globe!
We cannot thank you enough for helping us make this goal a reality by supporting us with private donations and at our Golf tournament. Next year, we again hope to be able to take a class of students who will experience this life changing and enriching educational journey.
- Please join us at our annual fundraising Golf Tournament, August 15, 2008, by registering your team here.

With your help and the help of others like you, we are confident that we will meet our goal again and be able to take next year’s seniors.
On behalf of our class, we would once again like to express our sincere thanks for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Brendan Malanga and Nicole Pisano
